By using the services of The Seaways Placement & Services, either online or offline, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all users, applicants, trainees, and candidates utilizing our services.

1. General Terms

• All services provided are subject to availability, eligibility, and submission of required documents.

• By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with our company policies, procedures, and placement rules.

• You confirm that all details and documents submitted by you are accurate, genuine, and up to date.

• The Seaways Placement & Services operates strictly under RPSL licensing norms and Government of India DG Shipping-approved standards.

2. Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates must:

✅ Submit all original documents for verification (e.g., Passport, CDC, SID, STCW, INDOS, etc.)
✅ Clear all dues related to placement, documentation, and travel before onboarding
✅ Understand that failure to do so may result in cancellation/delay/change of vessel/port/joining process without refund

3. Fees & Charges

The candidate agrees to pay the following charges as per service category:

???? Visa Processing Charges
???? Flight/Travel Tickets
???? Onboarding/Documentation Costs

❗ No services shall be processed until all dues are cleared in full.

4. Refund Policy

• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 45–60 working days from the date of the official withdrawal request.

• Withdrawal requests must be submitted formally before onboarding or placement confirmation.

• Last-minute withdrawals or onboarding refusals will not be eligible for any refund.

• If a candidate chooses not to wait during visa/interview/ticket delays, a formal withdrawal request is necessary.

5. Conduct & Compliance Onboard

Candidates must:

⚓ Follow instructions from the Shipping Company / Master / Captain / Senior officials
⚓ Not request ship/vessel/port changes once joined
⚓ Maintain discipline and safety standards onboard

❗ Non-compliance may lead to termination of placement or deboarding without any refund claim.

6. Misconduct & Legal Disclaimer

• Candidates must not misuse or defame The Seaways Placement & Services brand in any form, including public or digital platforms.

• Any attempt to defame, threaten, or cause reputational harm may result in strict legal action.

• The Seaways reserves the right to refuse services, withhold placements, or pursue litigation for breach of agreement.

7. Jurisdiction Clause

All legal matters arising from these terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

8. Declaration by Candidate

I, (Candidate Full Name), hereby declare that I have read, understood, and accepted all the terms and conditions mentioned above. I voluntarily request placement assistance from The Seaways Placement & Services and agree to:

✔ Pay all required service, visa, and travel charges
✔ Submit all valid documents on time
✔ Follow company and onboard protocols
✔ Accept refunds, if applicable, as per policy timelines
✔ Not misuse or damage the reputation of the company

I also acknowledge that The Seaways is not liable for last-minute changes by shipping companies or delays due to uncontrollable factors.
